12.05. x Casting x le bloc fashion show 2015

le bloc and fashion show, is like the 1+1, always inseparable. And soon it’s that time again, the Stadtrevue and le bloc invite you to the big, open casting in Cologne. We give all models from Cologne, Düsseldorf and the surrounding area the chance to be part of le bloc 2015! On 12.05.2015 at 4pm in the Belgian Quarter – Cologne’s hub for fashion & lifestyle. The casting will take place at Hallmackenreuther, in a relaxed atmosphere, directly at Brüssler Platz. We are looking forward to your participation on 12.05. The le bloc jury (more about the cast below) will then select all potential candidates for the catwalk on 13.06. Afterwards we will take polaroids of you directly on site, which will then be sent to all le bloc designers & boutiques.

le bloc, Cologne’s largest fashion and design event, is the fusion of urbanity and interactivity in fashion and design. On 13.06.2015, the Belgian Quarter will be offering insights into its creative hustle and bustle around the topic of fashion and design for the seventh time with le bloc. Pop-up stores, boutiques and showrooms attract with numerous promotions, concerts and juicy discounts and bring their fashion to the largest outdoor catwalk in Cologne. At the now legendary fashion shows in the multi-storey car park, local and international designers present their latest fashion highlights of the season.

PRESS CONFERENCE/CASTING
We would like to invite you to the press conference and model casting on 12 May. The le bloc team will present the first information on the varied supporting programme and will be available to answer questions. The first collection pieces by this year’s guest designers Doriane van Overeem from Brussels and Marius Janusauskas from Antwerp will be presented exclusively. Both designers will be available on site for interview questions. Highlight of the press conference: A 4-member jury will select new faces for the blocwalk 2015 during the model casting.

For many Cologne residents, for designers, boutique owners or even models it is a big highlight every year: le bloc. Over 80 agencies, fashion boutiques and creatives join forces. On 13.06.2015 the time has come. Already in the afternoon the Belgian Quarter is full of people, bloggers, students and creatives. The highlight in the evening: the fashion show with 14 selected designers. We will even close the big parking garage for it – be curious!

For the seventh time, the fashion and design event le bloc is taking place in Cologne. Numerous designers, agencies and boutiques are taking part. More than ten thousand people make a pilgrimage to the beglisches Viertel on Sat, 13.06.2015 to listen to, watch or experience various musicians, designers and creative people. Focus as every year: fashion and art. The district festival takes place in the middle of Cologne, between Friesenplatz, Rudolfplatz and Ehrenfeld.

As le bloc partner agency for model selection and catwalk support in the evening, we were also lucky enough to find two great faces for this year’s issue of komo magazine! Christoph and Alina made it and are now one year on the cover of the 2015-issue. We are very happy! You can find more about the cover shoot here.
