Munich celebrates Boutique Hogan – the new luxury label
Hogan in the middle of Munich: The Italian luxury label Hogan ceremoniously opened a new flagship store in Munich on October 14. In addition to the Düsseldorf location, the Munich store is the second in the whole of Germany. Hogan has stood for sporty elegance since 1986 and is particularly known for its exclusive shoe and bag collections. Since 2008, designer Thakoon has regularly brought out a ready-to-wear collection, as well as (sunglasses) since 2009. In 2010, fashion king Karl Lagerfeld, designer at Chanel, entered into a loyal cooperation with Hogan and has since designed his own seasonal collection for the designer label.
The Hogan shop opening in Munich became a much sought-after event in the German celebrity scene. Hogan president Andrea Della Valle invited exclusive guests from the fashion and acting scene. In addition to celebrity guests such as Moritz Bleibtreu or Kostja Ullmann, well-known fashion bloggers, such as Maya Wyh or Simon Lohmeyer, as well as numerous representatives of the media industry appeared. A total of 300 guests celebrated together to music by DJ Fabian Hart. Later, the guests went to the Heart Séparée at Lenbachplatz for dinner.
The new in-location in the Residenzstraße in the centre of Munich was exclusively designed by the architects Gilles and Boissier.
Munich celebrates Boutique Jensen – new designer label
The first flagship store & showroom of the Danish designer label Georg Jensen has opened its doors in Munich since May 2015. In the exclusive location in Munich’s old town, which was specially designed by architect David Thulstrup, Jensen presents the new noble home accessories, accessories for the style-conscious gentleman, including watches, writing utensils or leather goods, and silver and gold jewellery.
Georg Jensen was founded in 1904 and already boasts more than 100 showrooms in over 20 countries. The Danish royal family also loves the creations of Jensen, the label is considered the official supplier of the royal family. Not surprisingly, the Danish Crown Prince and Crown Princess also visited the store during its grand opening.
